Sami’s painting practice pursues ideas of time, action and process. Experimenting with the limits and freedom of the medium, he places emphasis on painting as a performative process.
The Ramsay Art Prize is a $100,000 acquisitive prize for contemporary Australian artists under the age of 40.
Shortlisted works will be exhibited at the Art Gallery of South Australia from 25 May until 25 August 2019.
